PROFICIENT USERS - ADVANCED
Advanced English (CAE)
This exam corresponds to†level C1European Common Reference Framework. At this level of proficiency the candidates should be capable of:

Understanding a wide range of linguistically complex, demanding, longer texts and recognise implicit meaning.

Expressing ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.

Using the English language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.

Producing clear, well-structured, detailed text on fairly complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
CAE assesses the candidates in reading, writing, listening and speaking in a 5-part exam once they have reached this advanced level: Reading, writing,
listening, speaking and language usage.
At Talk Talk Academy these courses are directed towards†adolescents and adults, with an advanced knowledge of the English language, working all the skills together.
Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
This exam corresponds to level C2 of the European Common Reference Framework.
At this level of proficiency the candidates should be able to:

Summarize information from a wide variety of spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent way.

Express themselves spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations.
CPE assesses the candidates in reading, writing, listening and speaking in a 5-part exam once they have reached this advanced level: Reading, writing, listening, speaking and use of English.

The PROFICIENT USER certificates are recognised by most universities and colleges in both Great Britain and other English-speaking countries as proof of having reached a sufficient level of English to access higher education courses. Both the CAE and CPE are also recognized by companies worldwide.
